Some of us
We’re a collaborative group of web video folks that come together in various combinations to create eminently watchable videos. Here are some of us.
Mark Bellusci
I’ve written, produced and/or directed videos for Century 21, Time Warner Cable, WholeMeals Pet Food and others. And for my advertising and web work, I’ve won a One Club Gold Pencil, several ADDY awards, an Effie award and others. I’ve also been writing plays and screenplays for more years than I care to remember. Along the way, I’ve had five works published, and plays produced all over the world. I’ve also created a series of films that are regularly on the festival circuit. I started this web video company and suck up regularly to the other talented people on this page.
Jeff Bratteson
I started a company, musicformotion.com, that specializes in music and sound design for the web, games, and other new media. I’ve worked as a creative director and art director in general advertising and interactive, which I combine with my passion to create inspiring music for all venues.
Mike Brumm
Mike is currently a writer for The Colbert Report, where he has received two Emmy Award nominations and a Peabody Award. He also helped write the New York Times Bestseller “I Am America (And So Can You!)” Before all this Colbert business, Mike was a copywriter at an ad agency. And before that, he worked as a writer for the irreverent CD-ROM game “You Don’t Know Jack.” Mike enjoys writing about himself in third person. Mike. Mike. Mike.
Juan Gallardo
I got roped in by Mark to design this site, and he now owes me big time. When I’m not doing Mark’s work, I’m doing art direction and designs for IBM, DeBeers, Pfizer, Dunkin Donuts and others. I’ve been fortunate enough to have won a Cannes Gold Lion, a One Club Gold Pencil, and a slew of ADDYs, Effies and more.
Jimmy Gnass
I’m an award-winning filmmaker and art director and with more than a decade of experience providing video, design and user experience solutions for leading companies. I graduated from the NYU Film School Director Program, and am always shooting something. I also bring to the table some serious skills in user interface design, site navigation systems, visual and application design. And I’ve got a lot of experience designing and developing within a Flash environment.
Tom Keener
I was half of the brother act, Them Keener Boys, which was a fixture on the East Village comedy and music scene throughout the 1990s (NYC's Best Comedians 2000—NY Press). My first short film, Madeline (16mm, b&w) was recently selected from thousands of entries for inclusion UndergroundFilm's first DVD compilation, Sub Rosa. My Off-Broadway credits include directing a modern dress Oedipus Rex (Fall 2007) set in New Orleans. I’m also an advertising veteran with over fifteen years experience creating award-winning work for agencies large and small.
Rick Knief
After working as an art director at agencies in New York and Boston, I moved into what I really loved: directing. On the commercial side, I’ve done award-winning work for American Express, IBM, Century 21, ABC, Budweiser, Pfizer, the New York Times and others. On the art side, my documentary, Looking for My Brother, earned kudos from the Boston Globe and the Boston Herald at its premier at the Boston Film Festival. I’ve also got several screenplays doing the rounds.
Pete Slife
At my day job at CHINAGRAPH, I’ve been editing videos for a wide range of clients, including Chevron, Time Warner Cable, United Way and Lockheed Martin. I’ve also been shooting and editing a bunch of documentaries, music videos and short films on a wide range of subjects, for all kinds of festivals and other venues. |
